Red light therapy, a natural, non-invasive cellular treatment supported by over 6,000 studies, is shown to play a significant role in promoting not only physical healing, but also holds promise in addressing mental health issues.

By activating the mitochondria, SOHL increases energy production which stimulates the production of collagen, a crucial protein that strengthens and rebuilds connective tissues. This collagen-promoting effect is especially beneficial for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, as it facilitates the healing of tendons, ligaments, and even bones.

In addition to its tissue repair properties, red light therapy acts as an inflammation modulator, reducing the inflammatory response commonly associated with injury or trauma. By mitigating inflammation, it expedites the healing process, providing relief from pain and swelling related to conditions like muscle strains, joint injuries, and arthritis.

Studies suggest that red light therapy may have a positive impact on mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. It is believed to stimulate the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals, which can help uplift mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Furthermore, red light therapy has been found to enhance blood flow and circulation, which can contribute to improved brain oxygenation and nutrient delivery, supporting cognitive function and mental clarity.

Moreover, the anti-inflammatory properties of red light therapy may also play a role in mental health. Chronic inflammation has been linked to the development or exacerbation of mental health disorders, and by reducing inflammation, red light therapy may help alleviate associated symptoms.

SOHL Range

  •

    Pain

Red light therapy offers potential pain relief through its anti-inflammatory effects. It can reduce inflammation, a common cause of pain, and improve blood circulation, promoting tissue healing by enhancing oxygen and nutrient delivery. Furthermore, it stimulates the production of endorphins, the body's natural pain-relieving chemicals, for additional pain relief. By targeting inflammation, improving circulation, and triggering endorphin release, red light therapy provides a multifaceted approach to alleviate pain and discomfort.

  • Mental Health

Red light therapy, renowned for its natural and non-invasive approach to cellular treatment, encompasses not only physical healing but also holds promise in addressing mental health issues. Backed by a wealth of scientific research, this therapy has shown potential in promoting mental well-being and alleviating symptoms associated with various conditions. By stimulating mitochondria at a cellular level, red light therapy enhances cellular energy production, which plays a crucial role in supporting optimal brain function.

Additionally, red light therapy's ability to stimulate collagen production may benefit skin health and appearance, which can have a positive impact on self-esteem and overall mental well-being.

While further research is needed to fully understand the extent of red light therapy's impact on mental health, the existing evidence suggests its potential as a complementary approach to promote mental wellness and support individuals facing mental health challenges. Incorporating red light therapy into a holistic care plan may provide a multifaceted approach to address both physical and mental well-being.

Testimonials

I had neck pain for 2 yrs. Went to a Physio and Osteo numerous times; nothing worked. I’ve been using SOHL for 2 months and I've had a considerable improvement in neck pain.  Overall quality of sleep has improved immensely and it's a pleasure to use. I look forward to my daily session, relaxing and calming as I often fall asleep and nap while using it. I don't like to be without when I away from home.

I've been a bit of a basket case health wise. No fitness, over weight, poor sleep - you name it! Using SOHL has made a massive difference in support of an improved diet and excersise. I believe it helps with my recovery from excercise and somehow with weight loss. I was doing a lot before SOHL with some positive outcomes but when I started red light therapy things sped up massively.

I recently came down with the shingles virus, which affected my neck ear and head just prior to going on holiday. A friend recommended SOHL which I used 2-3 times a day on the area affected and was thrilled to move rapidly through the illness, recovering much faster than expected, without it ever being bad enough to stop me enjoying my holiday.

The lesions, which normally become blisters, barely reached that stage at all before they were healing up, and they proceeded to all heal completely with no scarring or pigmentation. It helped my pain as well which once again was much less than most people report. I took the opportunity to use it on my face at the same time, and noticed a reduction in pigmentation and broken capillaries (Telangiectasia)

Having enjoyed the benefits during my shingles recovery was enough to convince me I want to continue with daily, I always
notice a parasympathetic response (relaxing effect) when I use it which increases with longer time under it.

After surgery for hip replacement I experienced ongoing cramp in my hip. A year later I underwent a further operation for Iliotibial Band Release to help relieve this.  I found using the SOHL device twice a day was very soothing during recovery from the surgery.  I found that I could go to sleep at night without needing Panadol as it was relaxing and seemed to
have some pain relieving effect. I am happy to recommend the SOHL as a useful device to provide comfort from chronic pain.
